If you’re interested, please submit your candidacy by December 5th.

Election Timeline

  • Applications: 11/20 – 12/5 – CLOSED
  • Voting: 12/6 – 12/12 – CLOSED
  • New Board Announced: 12/15
  • Board Retreat: Saturday, 1/11 (applicants – please save this date!)

What Does the Board Do?
Board members help lead CAPCA’s signature events: the Annual Fundraiser & Founders’ Dinner, Story Slam, Glocal Events, and Happy Hours. Plus, there are the volunteer projects, website and newsletter, and small grants supporting Peace Corps–aligned initiatives.

Time Commitment
We meet once a month via Zoom and once a quarter in person (about an hour), with a few additional hours each month for projects or events. Many of us balance full-time jobs, school, travel, and families, so we keep things flexible and collaborative.

Do I Need to Be on the Board to Contribute?
Not at all but serving on the board is an amazing way to strengthen our community and bring new ideas to life.

Questions? Email us at [email protected] or reach out to any board member. Thank you for being part of CAPCA, and we can’t wait to welcome you to the 2026 CAPCA Board!
