Stand Together with CAPCA, No Kings Rally
CAPCA members are invited to stand together in Chicago and alongside communities across the country on March 28 for the No Kings Protest. This action is being organized locally by Lee Losey (Tanzania 1983-1985).
The rally will begin at 1:30 PM at Butler Field/Grant Park (E Jackson & S Colombus Drive, Chicago, IL). To help us gather as a group beforehand, we encourage participants to meet between 12:30 – 12:45 PM in front of DePaul University’s downtown location (1 E Jackson Blvd) — about 3 blocks away. The park will be very crowded, so it will be much easier to connect before heading in together.
We hope to see a strong showing of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of all ages representing the values of service, peace, and global citizenship. Imagine hundreds of RPCVs marching together with a Peace Corps flag and banner — a powerful reminder of the community we share!
Please also consider wearing your Peace Corps gear and bringing signs to show your RPCV pride.
If you plan to attend, please contact Lee Losey directly by email at [email protected] or by text at 224-289-1020 so we can look out for one another.
We hope to see you there!
