Working Bikes is a 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 1999, located in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood. It is a full-service bike shop, providing community members and neighbors with affordable refurbished bicycles, accessories, and repair services. Proceeds from the retail shop’s sales directly benefit their bike donation programs.
Volunteers must be 18 years or older, wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes that can get dirty and/or greasy. We will be assisting with preparing donated bikes for shipment, organizing/sorting parts, or harvesting good parts off of bikes that are unable to be fixed.
Date: Saturday, August 9, 2025
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with lunch to follow after the shift.
